Alberta Nelson

Alberta A. Nelson of Cold Spring formerly of Peekskill passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022 at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital.  She was 88.

Born on June 9, 1933 in Peekskill, NY to the late Albert W. Nelson Jr and Ann Marie Topaceski Nelson.

Alberta grew up in Peekskill and moved to Cold Spring over 30 years ago.  She was a retired Meat Wrapper at Grand Union in Cold Spring for over 30 years prior to her retirement.  She enjoyed going for walks and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Alberta is survived by her Sisters Barbara King of Buchanan, Alice McCaffrey of Wisconsin and Carol Sayres of Garrison along with grand and great grand nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A Graveside funeral service will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 11:30am at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
