Alfred E. Gerelli of Cold Spring, NY and Odessa, FL passed away suddenly on September 20, 2026 at the age of 82.

Born on May 17, 1944 in New York City to the late Alfred and Florence Bache Gerelli.

Al spent some of his early years on a farm in Nanticoke Pennsylvania. After his mother’s passing, he and his father moved to Eastchester. On August 21st of 1966 he married the love of his life, Sallyann Griffin. He served in the United Stated Army from 1966-1967 and was honorable discharged after the passing of his father.

In 1972 Al & Sallyann moved to Cold Spring, NY. In 1984, Al founded Gerelli Insurance Agency, where he dedicated his career and continued to work until his passing. In later years, Al and Sallyann became residents of Odessa, FL where they continued to make wonderful memories. Al had a deep appreciation for the things he loved, particularly horse carriage driving and antique automobiles.

Al is lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Sallyann; son Gregg Gerelli, Daughter-in-law Deborah; and his grandchildren, Gregg Jr and Elizabeth.

Family and friends may call on Thursday September 24, 2026, from 4-7pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring. Interment will be on Friday at St. James Cemetery, Stillwater, PA for the family.
