Barbara Alice DeMilio of Cold Spring formerly of Hyde Park passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026 at Kapla Family Hospice. She was 96.
Born on January 18, 1930 in Hyde Park to the late William A. and Mary Alicwe Petty Banks.
Barbara grew up in Staatsburg and alongside her husband Anthony owned the Chuck Wagon Restaurant in Staatsburg. She was a welder at Sonotone for many years before becoming a bus driver for 20 years for Haldane School District. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Cold Spring United Methodist Church helping them with many different functions.
She was a very proud family member of the Perry family, who’s roots in Wappingers date back many generations.
Barbara is survived by her son William DeMilio and his wife Wanda and her daughter Joanna Mills She has 8 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Peter DeMilion Jr and her son Mark Tabone.
Funeral Services will be private with Burial in Cold Spring Cemetery under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home-Cold Spring.
