Burton Gordon

Burton Gordon, 93, of Estero, Florida, formerly of New York City and Garrison, New York, passed away in Fort Myers, Florida on April 7, 2025 .

Born on June 26, 1931 in the Bronx, Burt was the son of the late Dr. Howard and Jean Seidman Gordon He was a graduate of New York University and Harvard Law School, served in the Army in the Korean War and was co-founding partner of Gordon & Silber, P.C., a New York City law firm.

Beloved husband of Sharon Scozzafava Gordon, cherished uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle, brother-in-law, stepfather, step grandfather, mentor and friend, he was predeceased by his late wife, Arline Kroboth Gordon, sister Myra Patulo, and brothers-in-law Lou Patulo, Steven Borbely, and Joseph Giacomantonio (recently deceased).

He excelled at law, tennis, golf and was a bridge Master.

Fiercely loyal and extraordinarily generous to those who were fortunate to be part of his universe, he will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by all of us who shared in his long, well-lived life.

A celebration of life will be held later this summer in Cold Spring. In the interim, donations in his memory may be made to the ASPCA or PETA.
