Dennis L. Rotenberg

July 22, 1952 — January 13, 2024



Dennis L. Rotenberg left this world on January 13, 2024 at the age of 71.  Dennis was a long time resident of Garrison, NY. 


Dennis was born in Peekskill, NY in 1952 to Harry and Ann Rotenberg.  He attended Lakeland High School and worked at City Carting of Westchester County for 30 years.   He was a lifetime member of the Garrison Fire Department after over 25 years of dedicated service as a volunteer firefighter.


He met the love of his life Karen in 1973, through mutual friends.  Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married in 1977 in Bedford, NY.  They had 2 children.


He is survived by his wife Karen, his children, Joshua Rotenberg and his wife Krystle, his daughter Kortney and her husband Daniel Van Amburgh; his grandchildren, Diego, Gabriel, Alexa, Addalie and Aubree,  his sister Lynn Rotenberg; along with many other family members and others whose lives he touched.


Dennis will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, humor and ability to have a conversation with anyone.  He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.


Family, friends and others whose lives Dennis touched are invited to Clinton Funeral Home , 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring on Sunday January 21, 2024 from 12pm-2pm. 

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to The American Heart Association or The American Kidney Fund in Dennis’s name.
