Dominic Bocchino

Mr. Dominic T. Bocchino of Cold Spring passed away on December 2, 2019. Dominic was born in Garrison, New York on October 11, 1925.

Dominic is survived by his loving wife, Clara Bocchino, daughters Linda (Bocchino) Dearborn and Louise (Bocchino) Ameo; sisters Nancy Esposito and Josephine Fleming; brother Patrick Bocchino, grandchildren Matthew H. Dearborn and Lisa (Ameo) Buglione; great-grandchildren Bellarose and Lillian Cahill; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmine and Louise Bocchino; two daughters, Diane Bocchino, and Carol (Bocchino) Purvis; granddaughter Rosemarie (Ameo) Cahill; sisters Angelina Weyant, and Regina Uva; and brothers James and Gerard Bocchino.

Mr. Bocchino bravely served in War War II. He was captured during the Battle of the Bulge and held as a Prisoner of War in Germany. He was awarded the Bronze Star upon his honorable discharge from the army.

Services are private and under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
