Dorothy Turner of Cold Spring passed away on October 10, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital  She was 70.

Born on March 4, 1947 in Cold Spring to the late Harold and Vivian Palen Smith.

Dorothy was a graduate of Haldane Schools and worked for the Town of Philipstown for the past 25 years.

She is survived by her loving children Megan Turner of Cold Spring and Brittney Turner of Dobbs Ferry. Her dear brothers Donald Smith of Adams, NY and John Smith of Sheffield, MA.  The light of her life, her granddaughter Mikyla Morgan and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Turner in 2012, her brother Richard Smith and her sister Carolyn Lahey.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 at 10am at Church on the Hill, 245 Main Street, Cold Spring with Rev. Tim Greco officiating.  Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
