Helen Carufe

Helen Carufe a lifelong resident of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at North Westchester Restorative.  She was 95.

Born on March 8, 1925 in Cold Spring to the late Dominick and Angelina Elia Talarico.  Helen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Loretto Council of the Knights of Columbus a retired employee of Marathon Battery and a seamstress.  She enjoyed reading her books and crocheting for her family.

She is survived by her loving son James Carufe of Cold Spring , her sister Flora LeMay and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Carmel Carufe in 1993, her siblings Anthony Talarico, Dominick Talarico, Joseph Talarico, Genevieve Talarico and Mary Hearney.

Due to the current pandemic graveside services in Cold Spring cemetery will be private for the family only.
