Holly Alexis Mackin

Holly A. Mackin of Cold Spring passed away on September 13, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 58.

Born on December 25, 1964 at Phelps Hospital in Westchester County to Martha Sowdon and the late Allen Miller. 

Holly grew up in Pocantico Hills and attended Pleasantville High School. She got her degree in nutrition from Calyton College.  After moving to Putnam County, Holly was an EMT with Kent Vol. Fire Dept. She enjoyed literature, cooking and shopping. She had a passion for dogs, especially her cocker spaniels. 

On July 4, 2003 she married Edward Mackin at Plumbush Inn.

Holly is survived by her dear husband Edward, loving children Jessica and Jillian Mackin, her dear mother Martha Miller.  Holly is also survived by her loving sisters Blythe Tolliver and her husband Robert and Abby Trabucco and her husband David. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews and cousins, she will be greatly missed by all. 

Friends may call on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 5-8pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
