Joan H. Sarconi of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 86.

Born on April 21, 1940 in New York City to the late George and Goldie Perry Needham.

Joan was a devoted member of Our Lady of Loretto Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and also ran bazaars for the church in support of the unborn. She enjoyed flea markets and garage sales.

She was the former Village Treasurer for the Village of Cold Spring, worked as a clerk at Shoprite in Fishkill and worked at Marathon Battery and Butterfield Hospital. On November 16, 1960 at St. Monica’s Church in New York City she married Benjamin Sarconi.

Joan is survived by her Children Liz Brosang and her husband Richard, Benjamin Sarconi and his husband Eric Roy, and Anthony Sarconi, Grandchildren Thomas Paulson, Chelsea Paulson and Taylor Sarconi and 4 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin Sarconi on May 5, 2025 and 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral Services will be private under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home- Cold Spring
