Lydia LaSala

July 24, 1922 — March 2, 2018

Lydia LaSala of Deltona Florida passed away peacefully on March 2, 2018 at home.  She was 95.

Lydia immigrated to America from Poland in 1950 with her 2 children John and Sophia. She subsequently met and married her beloved husband Tom and they had 2 children Thomas and Christopher. Lydia, or "Baba" as she was known by her family, was a strong willed, energetic and loving person to all those that met her in her life. She maintained a love for gardening and cooking and with regard to the latter, she took great pride in feeding people who vividly recall her insisting that they "eat".
She leaves behind a legacy which includes 12 grand children, 12 great grand children and 4 great, great, grand children. In times of need Baba could always be relied upon to extend unconditional love and care to her family and friends. She was indeed a dear friend to all and will be sorely missed by her loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 11-1pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring. A  Funeral Service will be held at 1pm at the funeral home with interment to follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
