I The family of Marilyn Mayo sadly announce her passing on January. 28,2024 at age 91.
Longtime Garrison resident and loving spouse of Richard Mayo who predeceased her in 2012. Born in 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph and Mary Leaver. She is survived by her children, Francis (Claire), MaryBeth Swansen (Paul); Michelle Duffany (Dennis), Lynn French (Patrick), Matthew (Lynn), Christian (Sylwia), and Danny.
She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren: Andrew (Diana) Katie, Danielle, Allison; Paul (Lori),Thomas (Sara), Nicole; Jessica(Brendan),Justin,Taylor, Paige; Sean,Kevin,Erin; Sarah(Joe), Ryan, Sydney; Christian and Kyle and 13 great grandchildren: Liam, Nora, Erin, Christian, Joe, Mariah, Ralph, Richie, Madison, Olivia, Peyton, Leila and Caspian.
Marilyn was also pre deceased by her son Ricky, her five siblings and her daughter in law Crystal.
Marilyn was a devoted wife, extraordinary mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She lived a life of faith, grace and love. Being surrounded by her large family was what gave her the most joy and she will be dearly missed by the many who loved her.
Marilyn’s life will be celebrated and remembered at a wake at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott St. in Cold Spring, New York on Thursday February 1, 2024 from. 5-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will follow on Friday February 2 at 10 am. At Our Lady of Loretto Church 24 Fair St. Cold Spring, NY 10516. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
