Marilyn Roach van Laer

Marilyn L. Roach van Laer a lifelong resident of Cold Spring passed away peacefully in Dexter Oregon with her granddaughter Alexandra by her side. She was 87.

Born in Butterfield Hospital on May 25, 1937 to the late William J. and Lousie Roach.

Marilyn was a graduate of Haldane in 1955.

She retired from Sony Electronics Corp in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

She is survived by her former husband and best friend Charles E. van Laer, Her daughter Robin van Laer and grandchildren Eric Edwards, Connor Fitzsimmons, Madison Fitzsimmons and Alexandra van Laer. She was predeceased by her daughters Allison van Laer, and Leslie Fitzsimmons, her brother William “Billy” Roach. 

Marilyn will be buried in Cold Spring Cemetery with her family in a private ceremony.
