Marvin Schenck

Marvin C. Schenck, 93, died peacefully at his home in Garrison, NY, on February 4, 2017. He was born in NYC on June 27, 1923 to the late Alfred and Sue Schenck. Marvin is survived by Joanne, his loving wife of 43 years and Tucker, his beloved Havanese.
Marvin grew up in NYC, graduated from Philadelphia Textile and NYU and was a WWII army veteran. He was a stock broker and investment banker before moving to Garrison 30 years ago. Marvin loved to garden, play tennis and golf. Living along the Hudson River, he enjoyed watching the boats go by. He was also an avid sports fan, cheering for his NY Mets, always hoping "this is the year!".
He will be buried at Wellwood Cemetery, in Farmingdale, NY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home-Cold Spring.
