Mildred A. LeFever

Mildred A. LeFever “Mitzy” of Poughkeepsie formerly of Cold Spring  passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022.  She was 92.

Born on May 7, 1930 in Cold Spring to the late Samuel and Katherine Trimble Monroe.  Mildred married the love of her life Raymond J. LeFever in 1951 at Our Lady of Loretto Church. 

She was employed at the rubber factory in Beacon and worked for Carlson’s Greenhouse prior to her retirement. 

She is survived by her loving children Raymond LeFever and his wife Cheryl of Pleasant Valley and Robert LeFever and his wife Brenda of LaGrange.  Cherished grandchildren Denielle LeFever, Raymond LeFever III and Allison LeFever. 

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond J. LeFever in January 2015, her siblings Samuel, John Richard Dorsey Monroe, Peggy Merandy, Katherine Komasa, Martha Wells, Ester Monroe, Veronica Critelli. 

Friends may call on Thursday August 11, 2022 from 5-8pm at Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring, NY 10516.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 12, 2022 at 10:30am at Clinton Funeral Home.  Interment will follow alongside her beloved husband in Cold Spring Cemetery.
