Ronald Philip Mazzuca

Ronald Philip Mazzuca, a lifelong resident of Cold Spring, New York, passed away onDecember 22, 2025, at the age of 89.

He was born on January 20, 1936. He was the son of the late Antonio and Concetta (Merante) Mazzuca. One of nine children, he is predeceased by six brothers; Anthony Mazzuca, Robert Mazzuca, Richard Mazzuca, Joseph (Moe) Mazzuca, Philip Mazzuca, and John Mazzuca.

Ronald was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was the proud father of six children, and nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally.

Survivors include his son Jason (Carrie) Mazzuca, daughters Corinne (Timothy) Heaney, Katrina

(Paul) Hoogenboom, stepsons MacGregor Rucker, David Rucker and stepdaughter Robin (Jim) Molleur. He is also survived by his two brothers, Billy (William) Mazzuca and Mickey (Michael) Mazzuca, along with his eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, extended family, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Ronald had a lifelong love for the New York Yankees and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer them on. His passion and frustration for the team was well known and often shared with family and friends.

Known for his loyalty, strong family values, and deep roots in the Cold Spring community, Ronald will be remembered for the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him.

He leaves behind a legacy of family, tradition, and love that will continue for generations.

Private cremation has taken place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at the Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott Streer Cold Spring, NY 10516 from 4:00PM-8:00 PM on Friday January 23, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Mazzuca’s name is asked to be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
