Thomas J. Hynes

Thomas J. Hynes a longtime resident of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025 at Elant at Fishkill. He was 94.

Born on June 7, 1931 in Queens to the late John and Anna Hynes.

Tom retired from Leviton Manufacturing as the Head of Transportation.

He was the Treasurer for the Loretto Council of the Knights of Columbus for many years.

Thomas is survived by his son, Timothy Hynes, Grandchildren Maureen Roush and her husband Arthur, and Elizabeth Hynes and her fiancé Eric Schwartz.

He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Hynes in 2018 and his daughter in law Lynn Hynes in 2023.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home- Cold Spring.
