Vincent S. Weyant went home to God on Wednesday June 16, 2021. He was 79 years old. Born on May 31, 1942, in Beacon, NY. He was the son of Anna Gutta and Charles Weyant. Vinnie is survived by his wife Jessica ( Rodino) and his children, Corrinne Pahlck ( Tim), Heather Carlson ( Matt), Nikolas Raymond ( Danielle). A proud grandfather to Tyler and Cody Pahlck and “Papa” to Charlotte and Nora Carlson. His sisters Anna Schettinio, Carol Stewart, brothers Paul and Carl Weyant, sister and brother-in-law Maria and Tony DiMeo, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Anna & Charles, his brothers Steve, Richard, John, Joe, William Weyant and a sister Mary Pendelton.
Vinnie was a master carpenter by trade. He worked at Chempreme, Texaco Research Center and the VA at Castle Point. Vinnie was a kind, patient and loving man, devoted to his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved animals of all kinds and the outdoors. If a campfire was near, that is where you would find him till the wee hours of the morning, smoking a cigar and making “dough” boys”. Vinnie enjoyed his Saturday night card game and annual fishing trip with his friends, watching his beloved Yankees and scratch offs. He was the family fix-it man. With a bungee cord and duct tape, he got the job done. A huge void in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
