Violet Terio

Violet Terio of Cold Spring passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024 at Calvary Hospital. She was 95.

Born on February 13, 1929 in New York City to the late William and Mariette Daucourt Pfeffer. Violet was a devoted member of Our Lady of Loretto Church. She enjoyed raising chickens on her property for 54 years. After her divorce she went to work for the Bird and Bottle INN as a housekeeper.

She is survived by her devoted children Renee Romanello and Russell Terio. Her cherished grandchildren Jaclyn Iglesias and her husband Kevin and their children Sydney Rose and Kingsley, and Joseph Romanello. 

Violet was predeceased by her infant son William Terio, her daughter Denise Terio and a brother William Pfeffer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 18, 2024 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Loretto Church, 24 Fair Street, Cold Spring. Interment will follow in Cold Spring Cemetery.
