Danka Ilieva Lambova

Danka Ilieva Lambova a resident of Cold Spring since 2015 passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 at home surrounded by her daughter.  She was 91.

Born on January 23, 1931 in Bulgaria to the late Ilia and Maria Danov, she lived in Bulgaria until 2007 when she immigrated to the United States to be closer to her daughters Ilka and Mariana. She first moved to Manhattan in 2007 and then in 2015 moved to Cold Spring.

Danka will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, sister and mother.

She is survived by her daughter Ilka Dobreva Marquardt of Cold Spring.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dobri Lambov in 1986, her daughter Mariana Dobreva Lambova in 2010 and her sister Nadeja Ilieva Antonova in 1992.

Funeral Services will be held in Bulgaria with local arrangements  under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home- Cold Spring.
