Timothy R Maxwell of Cold Spring formerly of Croton-on-Hudson passed away suddenly on February 17, 2021. He was 51 years old.
Born on March 11, 1969 in Nova Scotia, Canada to Robert Maxwell and the late Patricia Tuttle Maxwell.
Tim graduated from Croton High School and Purchase College. He was a curator for Green Mountain Minerals in Beacon, a professional Auto Racer, high performance driving instructor and microscopist. He was a well known animal activist, a devoted vegan inspiring many people onto a path of healing.
Tim was a true Yogi, often seen practicing Yoga with his wife Julia whom he adored.
On December 3rd, 1999 in Red Rock Desert, Nevada Timothy Maxwell and Julia Zern got married. He lived for his wife and three daughters.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife Julia Zern loving children Maja (19) Mazzie (16) and Milla (11) . His dear brother and sister Steven Maxwell and Jennifer Maxwell-Bencivenga.
His dear father Robert Maxwell and his nephew Robert Bencivenga and niece Liliana Bencivenga.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday March 6,2021 from 2-5pm at Clinton Funeral Home,21 Parrott Street, Cold Spring.
In observance of New York State guidelines, we will be limiting visitors to no more than 50% of our maximum capacity; A distance of at least 6 ft. must be maintained amongst all individuals inside our funeral home and acceptable face coverings must be worn while inside. We kindly ask after paying your respects, that you exit promptly so that we can continue to move guests in and out of the funeral home.
